Throwing Thursday - New Glaze

Working with new glaze is always a risk.  Each clay body, even from the same company is different.  Every glaze is mixed different, even from the same company.  Glazing a dish from the same bottle can give a different result.  The one thing to remember when working with clay and glaze is to not have an expectation.  Forrest Gump would have better described life as a glaze fire kiln, instead of a box of chocolates.

And some that were not.  Sometimes you just don't get what you want either.  This is a case of firing at the wrong temp.
