T is for Talisman
tal·is·man   [tal-is-muhn, -iz-]
noun, plural - tal·is·mans.

1. A stone, ring, or other object, engraved with figures or characters supposed to possess occult powers and worn as an amulet or charm.
2. Any amulet or charm.
3. Anything whose presence exercises a remarkable or powerful influence on human feelings or actions.

A talisman is an object, which is charged with magical powers by the person creating it.  This talisman is often referred to or kept in the possession of the creator in order to have the magic present with the person.

Anything can be a talisman.  I have a small crystal I carry in my pocket that’s been cleansed in a full moon and charged with the energy around the last “Her Sacred Fires”.  I don’t carry it all the time, but at times when I need to feel the Goddess presence I add it to my pocket for the day.

Below you can see a photo of how I charge the talisman.

Other Talismans would be Solomon’s Seal or the Swastika.

I found this video on how to create your own talismans with Sculpty Clay.
